RP 19 The General Had Second Thoughts

Buried in those files was a letter about the case dated June 16, 1946 from Fred Hallford, Special Agent in Charge of the Baltimore FBI Office, direct to J. Edgar Hoover (reprinted in full in Appendix D). Hallford wrote: “ ---- confidentially advised this office Brigadier General A. B. QUINTON had reversed his decision to discharge ABRAHAM/KOTELCHUCK [underlined in original], IRVING/ SPECTOR, PHILL HOWARD/WEISS, and RHEABEL JANE/ MENDELSOHN.”
