Much of this FBI field surveillance was dutifully reported by these special agents (SAs), whose observations were called “fisurs” in FBI reports, an abbreviation for “physical surveillance” events. Abe, Julia and I were annoyed by the surveillance, but eventually adjusted to it as an unwelcome part of our lives.
